Kanji Romaji English
hokorobite yukeba
ato wa chiru made saku dake no
koi ni narisou na
katai tsubomi ga yureteiru
if a stubborn flower bud were to unravel
swaying as if it could become love
it would bloom only to quickly scatter in the winds
shiroku shiroku aishitai
yodomi no nai
tsumetai mizu dake wo nomi
umareta hana no you ni
i want to love you
like a flower born white
drinking only cold clear water
anata no iro ni somaranai kokoro dakedo
amaku natsukashii sono te de
dakishimete yo
koi wa hajimatte mo inai
subete wa hakoniwa no naka no
chiisa na yumegatari
my heart may not be dyed in your color but
sweetly embrace me in those arms i’ve missed
even if my love has begun, you are not here
everything among a miniature garden
is but a small account of a dream
magnolia itsumade mo anata ga
samayoi mezasu basho ni shiroku
todokanu sora kara hohoemu
hikari no hitohira no you ni
mirai wo terashiteiru yo
magnolia
i will always be here in white
smiling from the sky you can’t reach
though you wander searching for it
i’m shining down on the future
like a petal of light
kowareta kioku no
yasashii koe ni kizuku made
anata ga yukitai
mabushii michi ga mieru made
until you notice
the gentle voice of your broken memories
until you can see
the bright path you want to follow
mayoigo no mama
kokoro ga yubisasu hou he
itsumo tayori ni suru no wa
kirei na hana bakari
like a lost child
i go where my heart points at
what i have decided to always rely on
is just a beautiful flower
yagate sanzameku sekai ni
takanaru uta
ai to iu na no akogare wo wakeau kara
koi ga hajimatte yuku no ne
subete wa futari de sakaseru
kirei na hana no naka
soon in this rowdy world
a throbbing song will resound
because we share the yearning called “love”
our love is just beginning, right?
we can make everything bloom
among the beautiful flowers
Magnolia
Magnolia reimei no torusoo
akarui yami no naka ni atte
todokanu sora kara kanaderu
yumemiru tentai no rondo
mirai wo utatteiru yo
magnolia
dawn’s torso lies within the bright darkness
the rondo of the heavenly bodies I dream of
plays from the unreachable skies
singing of the future
(Magnolia
asore amita mora)
(Magnolia
asore amita mora)
(magnolia
asore amita mora)
hokorobite yuku yo
amai tsubomi ga yureteiru
a sweet flower bud swaying in the wind
is unraveling

  3. b4u2bweird Says:

    thank you.

@george-san you forgot to put 2 more nn at misjasminnn ID XD

  4. george1234 Says:

Yes I did. Actually I didnt remember with how many n was her username so I prefered to leave it with one. but I dont think that it matter that much since there’s no confusion with another user (massjasmin and missjasminn for example XDDD).

  5. May in July Says:

Sorry, did anyone catch what Wakana chanted near the end?

  6. missjasminnn Says:

    its kajiurago ^__^
you could ask kowz, since kowz gives great transliterations 🙂

  7. missjasminnn Says:

hey george, i want to make some corrections on this. i translate without double checking >.<
i recently retranslated this song for my advanced japanese comp class and i found out "shiroku" can also mean coldly. which makes sense, since they do sing "tsumetai mizu dake o nomi…" and the whole song is kinda taunting the person being sung about.

i want to love you coldly
    without any hesitation
    like a newborn flower
    that drinks only cold water

    magnolia
i will forever be in the place
you wander towards to in white
i smile from the unreachable skies
    like a petal of light
i am shining down on the future
