In commemoration of the 10th anniversary of Gundam SEED, a music project has been announced and is set to release a series of singles containing remastered/rearranged songs from the anime. The first single to be released will be a new arrange of See Saw’s Anna ni issho datta no ni, c/w Rie Tanaka’s Shizuka na Yoru ni and their respective karaoke tracks. Yuki Kajiura’s involvement in the original songs include composition and arrangement of the See-Saw track, and lyrics of the Rie Tanaka track.

The page in Yuki Kajiura’s official site about her live events, has updated with the musicians and the guest vocalists that will perform in Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol. 8, which like we metioned in a previous newspost will be held on March 16 and 17 and April 8, 2012 in Shibuya (Shibuya Public Hall) and Osaka (Namba Hatch). This time unlike any previous live there will be 2 guest vocals, Eri Itoh and Hanae Tomaru, with Hanae’s being her first live appearance in a Kajiura live, as well as the flutist Rie Akagi!

This totally went under our radar as we just found out today that a new sheet music collection featuring the works of Yuki Kajiura was released last Friday! The sheets are arranged by the same people who did the previous books. In addition to some previously released songs, this book has new titles from Madoka, The Works for Soundtrack, and Fiction II! Title: Easy Piano Solo: Yuki Kajiura Collection Content: 176 pages, 41 songs ISBN-10: 4401025636 ISBN-13: 978-4401025633 Release Date: November 11, 2011

The book can be purchased from HMV and amazon.co.jp. It’s not yet available on CDJapan, which has only released one of the three Kajiura sheet music books so far.

A few days ago, was announced via the FJC Mail to the FJC members that the Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#8 will have 3 concerts at 2 Japanese cities , Tokyo and Osaka, from March 16 to April 08, 2012. We are not sure if we should expect a BD/DVD release, though there hasn’t been one since volume 4.
