Today is the 2nd and last day of Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.# 19 Kajifes 2023 -30th Anniversary Live- and Yuki Kajiura announced that See-Saw will release a new single after 18 years of inactivity!!! The single will be titled 去り際のロマンティクス (Sarigiwa no romantikusu) and will be the ED theme song for ‘Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM” and will be released on January 24, 2024.

According to the announcement at fictionjunction.com the single will include the title song and its instrumental as well audio from See-Saw’s performance of Anna ni Issho Datta no Ni at Flying Dog Festival

Today there were a lot of news coming out!
First (1), Yuki Kajiura announced she is collaborating again with JAM PROJECT on a song that she composes and they provide the vocals. The song will be titled GARO ハガネを継ぐ者 with JAM Project “GARO Steel Heir with JAM Project” and will be used as OP theme for the “GARO: The One Who Inherits Steel” live action series. The song will be released on January 2024. This is 2nd time Yuki Kajiura collabs with JAM Project, last time she composed the “-overture-to the next era” track for their 20th anniversary album.

Second news (2), is that HIGHWAY STAR has made a series of cover videos in commemoration of Yuki Kajiura’s the 30th anniversary, where other artists from the agency cover songs by Yuki Kajiura. Artists so far include REREGRAPHICS (Sito x Takumi Ozawa) x Kenshiro on Obsession, Haruna Luna on Shinkai no Kodoku, Shuri x Ren on I have a dream, Rito and Ren on Gloria, Chihiro Yonekura × Shiho Terada on Anna ni Ishhou datta no ni. Third news (3) is that a new trailer for “Kaze yo Arashi yo” has come out and it includes sample (0:40) of the new song “Kaze yo Fuke” of FictionJunction feat KOKIA that will be used as Ending Theme on a theatrical version of the NHK TV drama. The song will be included in the upcoming The Works for soundtrack II releasing on December 6, 2023.

Today it has been announced (1, 2, 3)  that Yuki Kajiura will compose KEIKO‘s new song 夕闇のうた Yuuyami no Uta, ED Theme of TV anime Sengoku Youko. The song will be released as a single on January 24, 2024, however the TV size will be released digitally on December 6 2023. The song will have a special edit and TV size only available on the CD-only version of the single, as well as an instrumental found in both RE and the Limited Editions. The LE will include either a BD or DVD with a Music Video and a Making Of. This the 2nd time Yuki Kajiura composes a song for KEIKO’s solo career, after nanairo no finale.

You can hear a sample of the song at the beginning of the anime’s CM (till 0:13)
