It has been announced at the NHK WORLD website that in tomorrow’s (June 14, 2015) J-MELO they will broadcast a show filmed at Anime Festival Asia Thailand which also includes Kalafina, Aoi Eir and Flow! You can check the schedule page to find out when it airs in your region (London = Europe)

The Kalafina website updated with the single’s announcement! The single will be released on August 12, 2015 and the title song will be used as Ending Theme 2 for the anime Arslan Senki. The new song will begin airing on July 5.

Following rumours from some days ago, according to AnimeNewsNetwork Kodansha’s Bessatsu Shōnen Magazine, has revealed that Kalafina will perform the 2nd Ending theme “One Light”, for the 24-episodes anime Arslan Senki that started airing this spring. The new OP and ED of the anime will begin on July 5‘s episode.

Anime description

In the kingdom of Pars lies the Royal Capital of Ecbatana, a powerful city ruled by the fearsome King Andragoras. Arslan, the 14-year-old prince of Pars, is a green ruler and lacks the fierce leadership skills possessed by his father. After his father falls victim to a treacherous plot headed by one of his most trusted comrades, the kingdom of Pars falls in the war with the neighboring nation of Lusitania. Narrowly escaping with his life, Arslan must embark on a journey to reclaim the fallen kingdom and fulfill his destiny as ruler of Pars.

According to the rumours from before, “One Light” single is expected to release around August 12 and 15, and there will be 5 versions: RE, Anime, LE A (BD), LE B (DVD), and Vinyl.

The Kalafina official site today released the coverarts and the official tracklist for the Kalafina LIVE THE BEST 2015 “Blue Day” / “Red Day” at Nihon Budokan Blu-ray and DVDs!

Just as previously seen by the HMV entry, “ring your bell” and “far on the water”, and the respective MCs before them are cut from the Live footage, but fortunately we do get the other 3 MCs for each day 🙂
