Sacra has announced the release on a compilation album titled “Kalafina All Time Best 2008-2018“. Like the title hints, the release will have all A-sides / songs used in anime/game since the groups debut till their 10th anniversary, on 3 CDs, and progressive will be there too. The songs will be in some way remastered. The Limited Edition also comes with 3 additional CDs containing the Audio recording of the Kalafina 10th Anniversary LIVE 2018 at Nippon Budokan that was previously released on BD/DVD.

In other news,  the SAO website  has updated with a new Alicization PV! During it you can listen to samples of a new Yuki Kajiura bgm,  OP theme song “Adamas,” by LiSA,  and ED theme song “Iris.” by Eir Aoi. By the way according to the staff list, director Tomohiko Ito (SAO till Ordinal Scale, Bokumachi) has been replaced by Manabu Ono (Horizon in the Middle of Nowhere, Saki, The Asterisk War) so its interesting if this will reflect on the music. According to the news, the new season will be 4-cour (48 eps).

Today, Yuki Kajiura announced (1, 2, 3) that she provided music for the Magia Record game first anniversary CM.

In this CM, Russian Olympics athlete Alina Zagitova cosplays in Madoka outfit and dances, as in the “Rebellion” movie intro. The bgm is a rearrangement of Sagitta Luminis.

Yesterday, July 22, 2018, was the last concert of Yuki Kajiura Live vol#14 ～25th Anniversary Special～ at Nakano Sunplaza, having as guests Kasahara Yuri, Itou Eri, Hanae Tomaru, and REMI in one concert, and REVO of Sound Horizon as Secret guest, and him and all the line up sang once again the DreamPort 2008 theme Sajin no Kanata e

After the live, was announced that the next Yuki Kajiura Live, volume #15 will be next year starting on 15 or 16 of June 2019, at Maihama Arena in Tokyo and with Nagoya and Osaka as next stops.

Also the new Fanclub’s name was announced: FictionJunction Station (FJS) and (you can click on it for the website) and signups have already started. The fanclub will start operations from October 1st, 2018.

Today it was announced that Yuki Kajiura will take part in Composers Summit Concert 2018, on December 28, 2018, along with Go Shiina and with Akira Senju as special guest. Musicians & Vocalists will be announced in the future.

Akira Senju is known for his work in Full Metal Alchemist,  Yomigaeri, Tales of Vespiria  and Gundam Victory (back in 1992), while Go Shiina is known for  his work at Tekken, God Eater and Idolmaster, Ace Combat 3, and various other of the Tales of games. Both composers seem to mainly work under Bandai Namco, and judging from vol #14 credits, Kajiura is probably going to do that too in the future. With them doing mainly games soundtracks, we can guess that in the tracklist for Kajiura’s part, there will be many Xenosaga musics, as it was a namco game.
