Anican to Publish Yuki Kajiura x Revo Interview

Posted , Updated

It’s kind of early to post this because I umm…don’t exactly have the interview on hand ^^; but this is a site for the obsessive, right ? ^_^ I couldn’t resist posting this as news anyways because that photo is JUST SO CUTE O____O So, this issue of Anican R Music is going to have a 10,000+ word-long interview with Yuki Kajiura and Revo. More information will hopefully come to us when the issue is released on April 1, 2008. The official site doesn’t seem to have any further information at the moment, but some details on the issue can be seen at Amazon.jp. The 164-page magazine will be selling for 1,050 JPY.

Thanks a million to Kazado, who posted this news in the forum. Your news-finding skills are jaw-dropping.

Yes that text was squished to the side, but I couldn’t possibly sacrifice the size of the amazing photo , just so you could read my boring words more easily!

Revo x Yuki Kajiura Maxi Release Details

Posted , Updated

After teasing us for a week, Revo has posted on his site a link to the new Dream Port 2008 website. The single will be bundled with a DVD. At the moment it seems that the CD will contain one song: Main Theme of Dream Port 2008, and an arranged version of it, and the DVD will contain the live performance version of that song. I think it would be such a waste if they put only one song on a DVD…they should give us more XD Besides, the definition of “Maxi Single” is a single with more than two songs! Hopefully there will be more announced ^_^ Thanks again to J. Uzuki.

Release: June 18, 2008

Catalog: KIZM-15~16 / Maxi Single + DVD

Price: 1,800 JPY (tax included)

Hehee the photo is so cute XDDDDD I don’t understand why Revo has no votes in that poll on the left XD
They spelled FJ wrong on the profile page… it says “Foction Junction” ._.

On Yuki’s blog, she talks a bit about the artwork on the Dream Port 2008 site. The girl is supposed to be Yuki Kajiura, and the boy is Revo. You can see Yuki playing the piano on the panel on the right ^_^

Uhuhuhu a short post here~ J. Uzuki announced in the forums today that Sound Horizon has posted some very juicy news on their site: Revo will be producing a maxi single in collaboration with Yuki Kajiura! More details on the single will be released next Friday, March 21, 2008, probably on the Sound Horizon website.

Thank you Jin <3

Yuki Kajiura Concert Updates

Posted , Updated

In a new post, Yuki announced that Yuri Kasahara will be performing at Dream Port 2008, adding to the growing list that already includes Yuriko Kaida, Kalafina, FictionJunction YUUKA / KEIKO / WAKANA / KAORI, and all of Sound Horizon. She has added a new section titled ++live!++ to her site, www.fictionjunction.com. She has also announced the instrumental musicians that will be accompanying her to each performance. I recognize at least some of the names from credits on Yuki’s soundtracks.

Yuki Kajiura LIVE Vol 1

Vocal:KAORI / KEIKO / WAKANA / 貝田由里子
Guitar:是永巧一
Bass:高橋“Jr”知治
Drums:野崎真助
Violin:藤堂昌彦
Manipulator:大平佳男

Dream Port 2008 (Kajiura side)

Vocal:Kalafina / KAORI / KEIKO / WAKANA / YUUKA / 貝田由里子 / 笠原由里
Guitar:是永巧一
Bass:高橋“Jr”知治
Drums:野崎真助
Violin:今野均
Manipulator:大平佳男

She also mentions that there will not be many live performances of Kajiuran (she uses the term “梶浦語” – Kajiurago) and non-Japanese songs. This is interesting, as most of Yuri Kasahara’s songs, I think, fit into those two categories. More information (dates, locations) on the concerts can be found on this page.
