Today JVC made us super-happy, as they announced the release of a Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol #9 DVD and Blu-ray, and to our luck its not the one of August 31 which was streamed, but the September 9, 2012 one, with guests Hanae Tomaru and FictionJunction ASUKA and an awesome tracklist!!

The Kalafina 5th Anniversary LIVE SELECTION 2009-2012 release described on the previous newspost, has now been officially announced by SonyMusic! The performances included in the 2 CDs will be 29 in total and will be chosen from 9 concerts. The Limited Edition will be enclosed in a box with a 60-page booklet, and will cost 8000yen (Tax included).

In other news, it was just announced that Kalafina will hold a live concert to celebrate their 5th Anniversary!

After a few days of rumors, the details were finally confirmed on the yahoo.co.jp store. Kalafina will release a CD album with audio from their lives covering the years 2009-2012, similar to FictionJunction 2008-2010 The BEST of Yuki Kajiura LIVE . The release will be titled Kalafina 5th Anniversary LIVE SELECTION 2009-2012 and will have Regular and Limited Editions, set for release on January 23, 2013 (same day as SAO OST I). The Regular edition will contain 2 CDs with audio from their Lives between 2009-2012 while the Limited Edition will contain these 2 CDs plus 1 DVD and 1 BD with the PVs from “oblivious” to “Hikari furu”. The PV of “oblivious” will be released for the first time ever!

The Sword Art Online anime’s official site just updated with the information for the 7th volume of the Blu-ray and the Limited Edition DVD release for the anime, containing episodes 17-19, as well as the Sword Art Online Original Soundtrack II, composed by Yuki Kajiura as a bonus CD. The Blu-ray/DVD will be released on April 24, 2013.
