Another event announcement, this time for Kalafina! To commemorate the simultaneous release of their first album Seventh Heaven and fourth single Lacrimosa on March 4, there will be a special event held on March 8, 2009 titled Kalafina Kick Off Greeting Vol.0.

A few hours later, they officially announced another event: a closed Premium Live which we first heard about with the CD content releases. To get in on this one, you have to be in Japan, buy both Lacrimosa and Seventh Heaven, and enter a draw before April 1 with the enclosed ticket. 500 winners will be chosen to attend.

An insert in the FictionJunction – Everlasting Songs CD gave details of Yuki Kajiura’s next live show, planned for this summer.

According to a mysterious source on 2ch, the opening theme for the Pandora Hearts anime will be titled Parallel Hearts, and performed by FictionJunction. Its unusual to have FictionJunction without a specific vocalist following, so well have to wait and see what thats all about . My hope is that its Yuki singing alone but I dont think thats very likely to happen ^^;. As announced earlier, Yuki Kajiura will also be composing the soundtrack for Pandora Hearts.

As we enter the 1-week countdown to the release of FictionJunctions Everlasting Songs and Kaori Hikitas Natural albums, samples of every track has been released by their respective publishers. Some are new, some are old Both albums will be released on February 25, 2009.

As you may remember, last September there was a special Hokuto no Ken event held in Japan – a soul wedding for the characters Kenshiro and Yuria. As the composer for the new OVA series, Yuki Kajiura attended and performed two songs with vocalists Keiko, Wakana, and Yuriko. A never-before-heard track titled “Epithalamion” written by Yuki exclusively for the wedding ceremony, and “Hanamori no Oka”, the main theme of Toki-den are among the performances. The full video of the event was streamed from GyaO’s website for a short time after the ceremony, but was only accessible to visitors from inside Japan.

A DVD recording of the event will be released with the Collector’s Edition of Hokuto no Ken ZERO – Kenshirō Den. However, the DVD is said to be only 55 minutes in length, as compared to the original length of almost 2.5 hours, according to Tou’s blog. Hopefully, neither of Yuki Kajiura’s performances were cut out! The main OVA will feature music by Yuki Kajiura, though an official soundtrack has yet to be announced.
