Today there were a lot of news coming out!
First (1), Yuki Kajiura announced she is collaborating again with JAM PROJECT on a song that she composes and they provide the vocals. The song will be titled GARO ハガネを継ぐ者 with JAM Project “GARO Steel Heir with JAM Project” and will be used as OP theme for the “GARO: The One Who Inherits Steel” live action series. The song will be released on January 2024. This is 2nd time Yuki Kajiura collabs with JAM Project, last time she composed the “-overture-to the next era” track for their 20th anniversary album.
Second news (2), is that HIGHWAY STAR has made a series of cover videos in commemoration of Yuki Kajiura’s the 30th anniversary, where other artists from the agency cover songs by Yuki Kajiura. Artists so far include REREGRAPHICS (Sito x Takumi Ozawa) x Kenshiro on Obsession, Haruna Luna on Shinkai no Kodoku, Shuri x Ren on I have a dream, Rito and Ren on Gloria, Chihiro Yonekura × Shiho Terada on Anna ni Ishhou datta no ni. Third news (3) is that a new trailer for “Kaze yo Arashi yo” has come out and it includes sample (0:40) of the new song “Kaze yo Fuke” of FictionJunction feat KOKIA that will be used as Ending Theme on a theatrical version of the NHK TV drama. The song will be included in the upcoming The Works for soundtrack II releasing on December 6, 2023.
