Interviewer: They said alot about your music. When it comes to movies its a challenge to enhance, the story’s worldview just true sound.
Kajiura: I’ve always loved books, and even made theme songs for them, since i was kid.
Interviewer: For fun!
Kajiura: Making music for stories is a wonderful job. I alone get to make music for these story. I love that feeling.
Interviewer: You never get stumped
Kajiura: I do.
Interviewer: That’s a separate.
Kajiura: Yes! I read books in a straightforward way. So when i make a soundtrack, its like im writting a book review. If i think a scene is wonderful I want to convey that through my music: If its sad my music is sad. Its very simple.
Interviewer: Its straightforward.
Kajiura: I feel like that works best. I’m always trying to make music that honestly conveys how i felt or i was moved.
Interviewer: ASCA and REoNA, you collaborated with her. What is the appeal of her music?
ASCA: Lyrics full of love, where you feel her warm humanity comming seeping through. Also when i first look at her lyrics, they call up lots of images and feelings. It’s always exciting to read them.
Interviewer: And you REoNA
REoNA: Like the summit said, her bewitching harmonies draw you instantly into a slightly different world for our own. Like with SAO and Fate, the atmosphere of her music, instantly pulls you into each world. That’s what i find really appealing.
