It has been announced during today’s Christmas Premium LIVE that a documentary film will be screen in March called 「Kalafina 10th Anniversary Film ~A Sparkling Harmony Spun out of Dreams~」

Limited runtime: Two weeks; March 30~April 12
The documentary will focus on the second half of 2017 (leading up to their 10th Anniversary) including activities such as Kalafina’s World Heritage Lives as well as the Acoustic Tour 2017. This film will showcase Kalafina’s 10-year history and it is also going to provide a glimpse into their future.
The Kalafina 10th Anniversary Film will not be released like we thought at first, but will be screened at Japanese cinemas instead!. For the promotion of the movie, has recently opened a dedicated website and you can also find a list of the cinemas that will screen the movie between March 30 and April 12, 2018 here

It has been announced that Kalafina will hold special lives for celebrating the completed reconstruction of Nikkō Tōshō-gū’s Yōmeimon Gate (Nikkō, Tochigi Prefecture) and Kōfuku-ji’s Central Golden Hall (Nara, Nara Prefecture), both of which are considered UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

August 9, 2017 “Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica” Ultimate Best Album
Aniplex announced today that a new best album containing 17 songs from the Madoka Magica franchise (TV anime, films, pachinko games), titled, “Mahou Shoujo Madoka Magica Ultimate Best”, will be released in Japan on August 9. The album will be produced for a limited time until December 31, 2017, priced at 3,780-yen and will come with a bonus DVD including the creditless OP/ED movies and a special movie for the upcoming smartphone game Magia Record: Puella Magi Madoka Magica Side Story to be available in July 2017.

Kalafina have announced details for their 21th single, titled「百火撩乱」 = Hyakka Ryouran = “A Hundred Flames Blooming Profusely”, with the title song being Ending Theme of the TV anime “Katsugeki Touken Ranbu” that starts airing on July. The single will be released on August 9, 2017, and it will have the usual 5 editions. The anime is been made by ufotable, with director Toshiyuki Shirai, composer Hideyuki Fukasawa (same as UBW), and Makoto Shirai on the Opening Theme.

The official Sword Art Online Ordinale Scale movie website has announced a standalone soundtrack and character songs release! The soundtrack, composed by Yuki Kajiura of course, will have 50 new tracks, contained in Disc 1, while on Disc 2 will be included 5 character songs, inserted in the movie, sung by the new character Yuna (CV: Sayaka Kanda). The release will first start selling on February 18, 2017 at the cinemas where the movie is screening, while on February 22, 2017 it will be available in all other stores too.
