Its New Year  In Japan (Happy New Year to everyone ! ☺️☺️) and ASCA published in her Youtube Channel MV of her upcoming song Kimi ga Mita Yume no Monogatari , composed by Yuki Kajiura, vocal ver of “starting the Case” bgm, used as theme song for the Lord El Melloi II special episode which btw aired tonight.

Flying Dog announced on  twitter that the song Taiyou no Kouro by JUNNA that appeared at the end of the 12th and last episode of Fena: Pirate Princess, will be released tomorrow on December 22 2021, digitally).

In other news, on the 3rd episode of Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen (10th if you count from start of S2) was spotted (at 13th and 18th min of the episode),  some new Yuki Kajiura bgm (she is co-composer). Eri Itou twitted about it. Yuki Kajiura  musician credits were shown  at the end credits of the 1st Yuukaku-hen episode some weeks ago.

Meanwhile, the 2nd  Limited Edition BD/DVD of  Kimetsu no Yaiba: Yuukaku-hen with eps 3-4, set to release on March 30, 2022,  will include Bonus CD with  “Music Collection Film Scoring Edition” with no composer separation, so its possible it will have Yuki Kajiura music inside.

Yesterday, the Lord El Melloi II twitter and website, updated with new PV for the Special episode that will air on new year’s Eve. The PV has a new song by ASCA (who sang the ED of the TV anime) composed by Yuki Kajiura, titled Kimi ga Mita Yume no Monogatari, and its basically vocal version of the TV anime OP theme “starting the case”.

An EP will be released on January 26, 2022 (with Digital release on Jan 1, 2022) containing Kimi ga Mita Yume no Monogatari, as well as a different take on “hibari” titled Hibari – winter whisper version –, and also Gyakkyō Spectrum (mobile game “SAO: Unleash Blading” theme), Kinmokusei [both not by YK], and respective instrumentals for all. In different but sad news, Kanda Sayaka, japanese voice actress and singer who among other roles (Anna in Jpn Disney’s “Frozen”) also did Yuna in SAO Ordinal Scale and sang the character songs longing, delete, smile for you, was found dead after falling from 20th floor of a hotel, with investigation still ongoing (source). Yuki Kajiura, and Remi reacted to the  sad news with messages (1, 2, 3) 🙁

PonyCanyon today published a new PV for the DEEMO movie on Youtube, that includes sample of the theme song nocturne written by Yuki Kajiura and sang by the audition winner Hinano Takashima. (sample is between 0:24- 0:37 on the video below)

Hinano (her actual artist name) will release (1, 2, 3) her first EP, titled nocturne and containing apart from the new song, 7 other DEEMO-related songs performed by her. The EP will be released on February 23, 2022, 2 days before the DEEMO movie premiers on Japanese theaters (February 25, 2022).
