The SAO 10th anniversary website has updated with information for the live event that will take place on November 6, 2022 at Tokyo Garden Theater. Yuki Kajiura is going to perform there too with her regular FBM band and vocalists!

In other news on August 2, a new trailer for the upcoming SAO P “Scherzo of the Dark Dusk” with new music came out, You can watch it Here . The movie will  start screening  on Sept 10, 2022 while the soundtrack comes out on Sept 9.

Today the SAO twitter account as well as Yuki Kajiura  staff announced that she composed a new song titled 『蒼穹のファンファーレ』= Sōkyū no fanfāre = Fanfare of the Blue Sky, for SAO’s 10th anniversary, that will take place on November 6, 2022 at Tokyo Garden Theater. The song is sang by Aoi Eir, ASCA and ReoNa. You can watch the PV for the event feauturing the song here 

Meanwhile, the original soundtrack by Yuki Kajiura for the 2nd SAO Progressive movie “Kuraki Yuuyami no Scherzo” (screening Sept 10) will be released on September 9, 2022, tentatively having 39 tracks.

Yuki Kajiura Live vol.#17 ～PARADE～’s concert dates were announced since March, however today were announced the guest vocals for each venue, and a trailer is also out (with footage from previous tour). In the tour all the necessary measures for Covid will be taken.

Ufotable‘s channel has a stream today with Kara no Kyoukai soundtrack to celebrate Shiki’s birthday (according to google, February 17) that will durate until the release of the birthday illustration of Shiki Ryougi.

Its playing some hours now and what’s more surprising is that it contains demo tracks with different vocals (eg Kajiura instead of Hanae Tomaru), sfx and instruments and some bgms are totally unreleased too

Its still unknown if any of that will make it to a CD release or will be just in this stream.

Aniplex has uploaded on its Youtube Channel, a samples/tracklist video for Case Study of Vanitas / Vanitas no Karte / Les Memoires de Vanitas OST that comes out on February 23, 2022 with 54 tracks in total, on 2 Discs! Do remember that this soundtrack also covers the currently airing 2nd cour of the anime series.

By the way, the tracklist of the DEEMO Movie soundtrack is also out, but so far confirming only “inside a dream” and “nocturne instrumental” to be by Y.Kajiura, however, there is a rumor that she also handled all the non-game BGMs, but remains to be seen if its like that or not 🙂
