In other news, there was recently announced via the official site that Kalafina will do 2 Christmas Acoustic lives in Osaka and Tokyo titled 「X’mas Premium LIVE 2012 “Kalafina with Strings”」 accompanied by piano (Sakurada Yasuhiro) and Hitoshi Konno’s Strings Quartet :D.

On a sidenote, the ACG Guangzhou 2012 exhibition in China in which Kalafina was invited, has been postponed for a later date, due to the crisis in the Sino-Japanese relationships.

The Sword Art Online anime’s official site just updated with the information for the 4th volume of the Blu-ray and the Limited Edition DVD release for the anime, containing, apart from episodes 9-11, the Sword Art Online Original Sountrack I, composed by Yuki Kajiura as bonus CD!! The Blu-ray/DVD will be released on January 23, 2013. REMI of Sound Horizon sings for the first time in collaboration with Kajiura-san in this soundtrack, so its going to be pretty interesting ^^.

The official Madoka Magica website has announced that the two upcoming Madoka films will premiere worldwide in 18 cities of 8 countries starting next month! Featuring music by Yuki Kajiura and Kalafina, each international release is accompanied with key visuals for that country (such as the Statue of Liberty for the American release). There appear to also be special merchandise and gifts available with ticket purchase!

In addition, Kalafina has been announced as one of the performers at LisAni live 2013 at the Nippon Budokan in January! The event is expected to be broadcasted so look forward to more details.

According to the Kalafina official site the group is invited at the ACG (Anime Cartoon Games) 2012 Exhibition taking place at Guangzhou Jinhan Exhibition Centre in China!

The exhibition will last from September 30 – October 4, 2012. Kalafina will be doing a (free) Mini-Live on October 3rd, and an autograph session at October 4.

The will also do a one-man live on October 5th, 2012 at Ren Min Bei Lu, Yue Xiu Qu, Guangzhou, China with tickets pricing at 8500Yen and for the VIPs at 9800Yen. This will be the first Kalafina visit to China after the “Red Moon” Hong Kong live in 2010! ACG 2012 official site (not loading)

In other news, CD Japan has updated with the full tracklist for Kalafina’s new single Hikari Furu!. It turns out that the Anime Edition will include instrumentals for all 3 tracks of the single! (finally!^^). Click on the discography entry below to view the full tracklist!

Last but not least, a few days ago was announced on the FJC official site, that between January 5-6 of 2013 will be held 2 live events exclusively for the members of the FictionJunction CLUB. Details with application and other information will be included in the newsletter to FJC members and mailed around September 20.
