According to Anime News Network, there was announced an orchestral concert by a 70 amateur musicians orchestra under the name “Walpurgis Night/Die Walpurgisnacht Symphoniker”.

The orchestra has received consent for the concert from Sony, Nitro+ as well as JASRAC and will be conducted by Kenichi Shimura. A total of 15 Yuki Kajiura musics from the TV anime (including 5 character themes), rearranged for orchestra are expected to be performed.

Rumours that were circulating the past month, got confirmed at today’s Kalafina 5th Anniversary LIVE “oblivious” live: Kalafina will release their 4th album on March 20, 2013 and its title will be Consolation !!!

In other news, Kalafina’s live Kalafina 5th Anniversary LIVE “oblivious” at Tokyo(Shibuya O-EAST) will be broacasted at the japanese cable TV nextwork WOWWOW on March 13.

A Kalafina box containing all 3 albums of the group (Seven Heaven, Red Moon, After Eden), titled Kalafina Special European Edition 2012 (or Kalafina – Coffret Collector) has been released in France and Germany since January 9, 2013 by TokiMedia, and costs only 30 Euros. It comes with a booklet with the lyrics in romaji and English, as well as 5 collector cards. If you live around these countries dont forget to get it 🙂

First there were rumours, and then came the tweets(1,2,3,4) of Kajiura-san announcing it officially: the 10th volume of Yuki Kajiura’s Live will be held on May 11, 2013 with the biggest number of performers as well as guests (in a single live) so far!!

[EDIT] Yuki Kajiura said in her twitter (1,2,3) that she is accepting, via her mailform setlists of songs the fans want to be performed at the vol#10 live. The deadline seems to be 2 months prior to the concert.

Earlier today, there was announced by the Kalafina official site that the group will sing a new song for the new season of Rekishi Hiwa Historia that will start airing on January 2013!! The song’s title will be 「夢の大地」 (Yume no Daichi, Land of Dreams) and will be used as Ending Theme, while Kalafina’s “storia” is going to be used as OP Theme. However no information yet if Yuki Kajiura has composed new BGM for the series too. Stay tuned!

There’s also an (unconfirmed) rumour about 4th album release in March, but anyway MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone from the canta-per-me.net team!! 😀
