New Kara no Kyoukai Trailer + Music

Posted , Updated

the Kara no Kyoukai website has updated with the DVD trailer from TAF2008, promoting the next four films in the series. The trailer contains new Kajiura music, including what sounds like a remix/instrumental version of oblivious.

The site also states that the fourth movie, Garan no Dou (伽藍の洞), will be in theatres on May 24, 2008. Thanks to grunty for the news. 🙂

[EDIT2] They’ve replaced the DVD trailer with the real trailer for the 4th movie, with more Kajiuran music 🙂 Thanks again to grunty for noticing!

[EDIT] Kazado has ripped the instrumental oblivious portion from the trailer, and can be downloaded here.

george1234 has also ripped the four 37-second soundtrack samples from the Kara no Kyoukai website, and uploaded them: Sample 1234

In other news, Yuki Kajiura Live Vol. 1 concert was on Saturday. Juicy details here. Also, the Endless Sky single was released yesterday.

That edit section is longer than the actual post. >_<;

Amatsuki ED (Yuki x Kaori Hikita) Preview

Posted , Updated

As mentioned earlier this month, Yuki Kajiura will be composing the ending theme for the anime Amatsuki, with Kaori Hikita as the vocalist, titled Namae no Nai Michi. Today, the Amatsuki website posted a 1.5 minute preview video of the anime, with a song whose vocalist that sounds a lot like Kaori Hikita.

Examples of Kaori Hikita’s voice: Michiyuki and Egao no Wake.

The single is set for release on June 18, 2008.

[EDIT] This page confirms that the song in the preview is indeed Namae no Nai Michi, by Yuki Kajiura and Kaori Hikita!

Anican to Publish Yuki Kajiura x Revo Interview

Posted , Updated

It’s kind of early to post this because I umm…don’t exactly have the interview on hand ^^; but this is a site for the obsessive, right ? ^_^ I couldn’t resist posting this as news anyways because that photo is JUST SO CUTE O____O So, this issue of Anican R Music is going to have a 10,000+ word-long interview with Yuki Kajiura and Revo. More information will hopefully come to us when the issue is released on April 1, 2008. The official site doesn’t seem to have any further information at the moment, but some details on the issue can be seen at Amazon.jp. The 164-page magazine will be selling for 1,050 JPY.

Thanks a million to Kazado, who posted this news in the forum. Your news-finding skills are jaw-dropping.

Yes that text was squished to the side, but I couldn’t possibly sacrifice the size of the amazing photo , just so you could read my boring words more easily!
