JVC and Yuki Kajiura have announced a new FictionJunction Album, featuring Yuuka, Keiko, Wakana, Kaori, Asuka, as well as Yuriko Kaida. It is set for release on February 25, 2009. Mark your calendars!

The JVC website does not yet list Asuka as a vocalist as of this typing, but Yuki and Kaori Oda didnt forget! JVC notes that the album will contain self-covers, and Yuki says there will be some entirely new tracks as well ^_^.

Exciting news this morning; I just saw the email from Sony when I woke up so Im skipping breakfast to write this! The new Kalafina single with the theme for Kara no Kyoukai 6 has been announced, and will be released in December. The c/w song, titled serenato, has not been announced as the theme for KnK 7, however. It seems that Maya will not be involved in this single. |

[EDIT: October 23] The name on the credit has now been changed to Yuki Kajiura, so half of the rest of this post is kind of pointless now ^^; but we can still hope for some new music~
Thanks to tsubasa for posting this in the forum.
The Kodansha website has released information on two upcoming Tsubasa Chronicle OAD – two animated episodes of an arc titled Shunraiki, to be bundled with Tsubasa Chronicle manga volumes 27 and 28. FictionJunction YUUKA has been listed as the music staff for the project.
The two volumes are set for release on January 19, 2009, and April 17, 2009, at a retail price of 3,700 JPY each.
However, it is unknown whether the music in OAD will be new compositions. It is unusual that FJY would be listed as the entire music staff, while in the past it had been Yuki Kajiura. In the previous OVA (Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations), there was a small amount of new music mixed in with old, so we hope this time there will be at least a bit of new material, and maybe even a new song or two with Yuuka

Yuki Kajiura has announced in her blog that Yuki Kajiura LIVE Vol #3 concert will be held on Saturday, December 27, 2008 at Yokohama BLITZ. Kalafina will perform the opening act.
It is a special live performance celebrating the release of the first DVD, which is a recording of the July 31 Yuki Kajiura LIVE Vol#2 concert at Shibuya O-EAST. The DVD itself will be released three days prior to the concert. Note the revised date.
The opening act by Kalafina will not be on the DVD. They must be too amazingly awesome to be recorded on tape
