本当は空を飛べると
知っていたから
羽ばたくときが怖くて
風を忘れた
hontou wa sora wo toberu to
shitte ita kara
habataku toki ga kowakute
kaze wo wasureta
Truth is, because I’d known
That I could fly through the sky
I was terrified when flapping my wings
And at last I forgot the wind
oblivious
何処へ行くの
遠くに見えるあの蜃気楼
いつか怯えながら
二人の未来を映して
oblivious
doko he yuku no
tooku ni mieru ano shinkirou
itsuka obienagara
futari no mirai wo utsushite
oblivious
Where are we going?
The mirage we can see in the distance
Will one day reflect our future
Even while it frightens us
よるべない心二つ
寄り添う頃に
本当の悲しみがほら
翼広げて
yorubenai kokoro futatsu
yorisou koro ni
hontou no kanashimi ga hora
tsubasa hirogete
When our two homeless hearts
Come close together
The sorrow of truth will, see –
Spread out its wings
oblivious
夜の中で
真昼の影を夢見るように
きっと墜ちて行こう
光へ
oblivious
yoru no naka de
mahiru no kage wo yumemiru you ni
kitto ochite yukou
hikari he
oblivious
We’ll surely be falling
Into the light
So we may dream of midday’s glow
Within the night

(misori cadita mie

いつか 君と 二人
夜を 朝を 昼を
星を 幻想を
夏を 冬を 時を 風を
水を 土を 空を
we go further in the destiny……
itsuka kimi to futari
yoru wo asa wo hiru wo
hoshi wo yume wo
natsu wo fuyu wo toki wo kaze wo
mizu wo tsuchi wo sora wo
we go further in the destiny…
Someday I’ll be with you
In night, morning, noon
Stars, illusions
Summer, winter, time, wind
Water, earth, sky
we go further in the destiny…
oblivious
側にいてね
静かな恋がほら始まるよ
いつか震えながら
二人の未来へ
oblivious
soba ni ite ne
shizuka na koi ga hora hajimaru yo
itsuka furuenagara
futari no mirai he
oblivious
Be by my side
And see, our peaceful love begins
Someday, while we tremble
We will go towards our future
oblivious
何処へ行くの
遠くへ逃げてゆく
水の中
何て綺麗な声で
二人の未来を
歌って
oblivious
doko he yuku no
tooku he nigete yuku
mizu no naka
nante kirei na koe de
futari no mirai wo
utatte
oblivious
Where are we going?
Within the water
That flees far away
Sing of our future
With such a lovely
Voice

    Wakana said this
    oblivious
    yoru no naka de
mahiru no kage wo yumemiru you ni
    kitto ochite yukou
    hikari he
Keiko does it say in the second voice? Sorry for my english, i speak spanish =S

  5. Helio says:

I think “yume” in the “hoshi wo yume wo” part is supposed to mean “dreams”, not “illusion”

    Amazing song anyways! 🙂

  6. Virgil says:

What did Keiko sang in the second chorus?
    while Wakana sang this
    oblivious
    yoru no naka de
mahiru no kage wo yumemiru you ni
    kitto ochite yukou
    hikari he

  7. Adiey says:

  8. aki says:

anyone have an ear for what Keiko is singing after “we go further in the destiny” (@2:50~)?
    I hear things like “oshiete…yume de…futari…no made…oshiete…yume de” but there are other things I can’t make out…

  9. Michael Vincent says:

Indeed has auto-become one of my favorite song. This song is so damn good and complex.

  10. *p a p e r says:

What Keiko sings after Wakana’s “we go further in the destiny”:

fuyu wo toki wo kaze wo
mizu wo tsuchi wo sora wo
    itsuka kimi to futari
yoru wo asa wo hiru wo
    hoshi wo yume wo
    natsu wo

  11. Rakkis157 says:

I agree that yume wo should be dreams. Illusions make no sense.

  12. ritaro says:

@those who’s complaining about the “yume” : You should see the kanji. Kajiura used the kanji for “illusion” and “see/eye” for “yume” and not the usual “yume” kanji. I’m using my phone atm so I can’t type the kanji. So the “yume” here means “seeing illusion” and not “dream” so I think that’s why ninetales translated it as illusion.

@aki : it’s “hoshi wo, yume wo, sora wo” that Keiko sings after “we go further in the destiny” along with Wakana’s “hontou wa sora wo toberu to…” at least that’s what she’s singing in the live version.

  13. PassingKage says:

    I know it’s not

I appreciate whoever who translated the lyrics, I don’t see anything wrong in it, but it is a little confusing that the words are バラバラ (?) when it’s translated into English.

for example in Japanese, it’s “. .’Sora wo toberu. .”
while in english “. . through the ‘sky'” w

I rearranged them in my head while reading it.
it’s equally beautiful for both version.
