Note: The original and live Kajiurago are subtly different; therefore, both have been transcribed below.
Kajiurago – original versionarti miya kamina sorte miya iya, iya kamida sorte miya iya, iya arte miya dita miya yamahii, yamahiya, yamahii kamine sorte miya iya, iya yamahii, koniyii hi, yamahii |
Kajiurago – live versioncante miya kamina sorte miya iya, iya kamina sorte miya iya, iya cante miya dita miya kamina sorte mita miya, iya (yamete kamiye lete, amaye kamiye lete) cante miya dita miya yabuhii, yabuhiya, yabuhii kamina sorte miya iya, iya yabuhii, koniyii hi, yabuhii |
Transliterated by ninetales, with much help from wintersviolet
NOTE: Because the original transliteration just sounded completely off, I replaced it with my own. Feel free to replace it if there’s a better one around!
EDIT: I also transcribed FJ’s live version separately because there are subtle differences between it and the original.
but i dont agree with:
“kamina” sorte miya iya, iya
and
“lamente” sorte mita miya, miya
when u hear its more to:
“kamites” and “lamentes” because of “ssss” sound at the end.. same to live version..
What language is this? Are these japanese words? Some don’t ‘seem’ japanese. Lamente… cante. It sounds latin. Or jibberish.
It’s Kajiurago, a language created by Kajiura herself. And that’s right, some words appear to be from different languages specially latin.
It’s so very beautiful, I prefer the live version for some reason. When the ‘cante miya dita miya’ begins, the chant is almost hypnotic. I find the mp3 version rather drowned out by the other music, but live you can clearly hear the vocalists and they sound so god damn harmonic together.
I love music like this. Another one I like, a song played during Rozen Maiden, is something called ‘Kamp’ by Kui(I believe?), anyway, it’s also a nonsense/jibberish chant.
Who is the main vocalist in Live Version? Yuri-san or Wakana? It’s amazing!
^ In the live version that came with the live best CDs (which is the only live one that’s out so far) http://canta-per-me.net/discography/fj-yuki-live-best/, main vocal is Yuriko Kaida and Wakana, and the others do choruses to them 🙂
I wonder who the vocalist is in the live version of this ‘materalise’.:) I want to know the just the one sang the very first tune.(Ah~Ah~Ah~~~) I guess that she is Yuriko or Wankana because their voices are very high than other two vocals. But I think the very first tune is too high for Wankana and too strong for Yuriko. So I really want to know about this amazing vocal! Does anyone knows about this?:)
^ Its Yuriko Kaida
