Kanji Romaji English
いつもの夜になれば
いつものドアを閉じて
いつもと違う何か
探しに行く
Itsumo no yoru ni nareba
Itsumo no DOA wo tojite
Itsumo to chigau nani ka
Sagashi ni yuku
should the night come as usual,
I will close the door as usual
and I will go look for something
different than the usual
花の香りの紅茶
夢を南へ運ぶ
睫毛の上で遊ぶ
涼しい風
Hana no kaori no koucha
Yume wo minami e hakobu
Matsuge no ue de asobu
Suzushii kaze
The flower-flavored black tea
Carries my dream to the south
Plays on my eyelashes
A cool breeze
[amiya sonta dista
amiya sontiosa]
[amiya sonta dista
amiya sontiosa]
[amiya sonta dista
amiya sontiosa]
君は何処にいるのだろう
空の奥へ沈む
瑠璃色の歌声が
夢を東へ誘う
Kimi wa doko ni iru no darou
Sora no oku e shizumu
Ruri-iro no utagoe ga
Yume wo higashi e sasou
Where could you be now?
a lapis lazuli blue singing voice
that sinks within the sky
invites my dream to the east
やさしいおんがく
[aria noche]
どこか見えない岸辺の
暖かい波音だけが
濡れた瞼に寄せる
Yasashii ongaku
(aria noche)
Doko ka mienai kishibe no
Atatakai nami oto dake ga
Nureta mabuta ni yoseru
gentle music
[aria noche]
Only the sound of warm waves
in a shore somewhere out of sight
comes close to my wet eyelids
廻る木馬に乗って
光る小川を超えて
水の中の宝石
探しに行く
Mawaru mokuba ni notte
Hikaru ogawa wo koete
Mizu no naka no houseki
Sagashi ni yuku
Riding a turning wooden horse
crossing a bright streamlet
I am going to look for
the gem inside the water

“lapis” also in Malay meaning “layer”

  2. george1234 says:

The point is to say what the word that inspired the song title was meaning, and not what that sound means in every language 🙂

  3. mjphantomhive says:

yeah. i thought that ‘lapis’ is a pencil because lapis means in the philippines “pencil”

  4. Titus says:
