English | Kanji |
---|---|
Shine bright morning light Now in the air the spring is coming |
明るい朝の光よ、輝いて 空気の中にはもう春が漂っている |
Sweet blowing wind Singing down the hills and valleys |
甘く吹く風が 丘や谷歌いながら下る |
Keep your eyes on me Now we’re on the edge of hell |
私から目を離さないでね ここは地獄の縁(へり)だから |
Dear my love, sweet morning light Wait for me, you’ve gone much farther too far |
大切な貴方、甘い朝の光 ねえ待って、貴方は遠くへ行きすぎる あまりに遠くへ |
Lyrics from .hack//SIGN OST I booklet, kanji transcription by arqnohikari
I thought it was “Keep your eyes on me first.” But, when i heard it again it sounded like ‘Keep blowing for me”?
I tried for 15 mins to find the japanese version until I realised there ( probably) isn’t any

There isnt one. It was and still is originally in english. Sorry for the confusion.
It’s quite similar to “In the covert town” from final fantasy 3. The similarities are shown quite well in the pixel remastered soundtrack. Is there anything known about Kajiura being inspired by Nobuo Uematsus work?
