Wow, finally! thank you for the lyrics 🙂 the song is really great!
Great song! I adore her. It is a great cd, they are getting better day by day.
Yes, this is it! I love it! But question, what is the translation of ‘QUO VADIS’ in english?
@ Onin : ‘QUO VADIS DOMINE’ mean ‘Where are you going, Lord’ it’s Latin :3
Kajiura-sama are AWESOMEEE! Nice Lyrics! Thanks!
@Cherish
Quo Vadis Domine= Where are you going, God?
As far as I know… Hope I helped!
Yes, “Quo vadis domine” is Latin, and it means “Where are you going, God/Lord”. I had to study latin for 5 years at my school… ç__ç
By the way, when I listen to the part “awaremi wo kudasai to sakende”, isn’t Hikaru sing “sakenda” instead “sakende”? I took some lesson on music at school so I do know that sometime a singer just have to bend the lyrics a bit in order to flow smoothly with the music. So my question was the lyrics like that in the lyrics book or Hikaru just sing it like that blend with the music? o.o
I think true lyrics are
Iki o suru dake ja kanawanai
motto fukaku made iku tame no
namida to nageki o kudasai
mugotarashii hodo kirei na kimi no kamisama wa
hageshiku horobisaru mono dake o aishita
Quo Vadis Domine?
sono koe wa inori to yobi made mo nai
itsuka kimi no negai dake ga todoku to shinjite iru
haritsumeta sora no fumoto e
bokura wa nimotsu o katsuide
nigeru you ni tsunnomette aruita
hajimari no hoshi wa shizuka ni
kimi no ikusaki o terashite
aoizameta tanizoko ni kagayaku
Quo Vadis Domine?
nagusame o itsuka kimi no te no naka ni
hoshigaru kokoro no mama dewa
todokanai basho ni aru
akiramezu te o nobasu
yokufukai kokoro ga
mitasarete nemuru made
hikari ni tooi michi o
nandemo tabetai tamashii
kajiritsuita yume hakisute
awaremi o kudasai to sakenda
Quo Vadis Domine?
nagusame o itsuka kimi no te no naka ni
subete moyashitsukushita koro
todoku to shinjite iru
They sang this song for the opening of their performance at AFA indonesia, and everyone’s like all going hysterical and crazy! We were all in amazing euforia for kalafina, and finally i got the chance to see them at a real concert, not just watching them from the concert videos on my laptop again. Please come to indonesia again!
I have a correction to make.
It sounds like “sakende” should be changed to “sakenda”, since that’s the past tense (“shouted”).
If the original kanji is in fact “sakende”, then the English should be changed to “shouting”.
awaremi wo kudasai to sakende … sakende ? or sakenda ?
Is it just me, or does it sound more like Keiko sings “itsuka” instead of “itsumo” in her bridge countermelody?
Such a pity.
The performance is marvellous and the music is ear-catching but unfortunately the lyrics represent such egregiously horrendous infidelity.
I’ll keep on enjoying their other works.
