Yuki Kajiura is planning do a web radio broadcast, to promote the new FictionJunction album 「elemental」, and is encouraging us to answer some questions to her:

Flying Dog has updated with more info for the new FictionJunction album! First its title will be「elemental」 and will be released on January 22, 2014. It will have 13 songs in total, sadly there will be only 3 new songs and 1 self-cover, confirmed songs are:

Recently a japanese show aired the first 3 minutes of the new Madoka Magica movie “Rebellion”, where near the end there was a new song. Yuki Kajiura confirmed via an interview, that its ASUKA from FictionJunction singining it! This is sort of a historical moment since its the first song of ASUKA composed by Yuki since 2006, when “everlasting song” single was released 😀

Asuka had previously appeared in Yuki Kajiura live vol#9 (the one that came out on BD/DVD), as well as vol#10, singing everlasting song on both and also See-Saw’s “Uta” in vol#10.

[EDIT] Meanwhile the Front Band Members that Kajiura-san and Kalafina use are going to do their own live on January 25, 2014, at Blue Alleys Japan, WIth Koichi Korenaga on Guitar and Vocal, Takahashi “Jr” Tomoharu on Bass and Harp and Sakurada Hirotaka, Rie Akagi, Konno Hitoshi and Kyoichi Sato on their usual role (keyboard/flute/violin/drums).We are curious as to how this will turn out and what songs they will cover 🙂

The official NA Madoka Magica website updated with a list of the theaters and showtimes for the Madoka Magica Rebellion movie in North America (USA, Canada)! You can check them out here. There are a few showtimes for the 2 previous movies as well 🙂

In Australia / New Zealand the movie will be screened on theatres in Brisbane, Sydney, Canberra, Melbourne, Adelaide and Perth on the 1st and 2nd of February 2014. New Zealand will have at least one screening on the 1st of February 2014 in Auckland. (source: ANN.au). Thanks to Kuguyama.
