Highway Star YT channel updated with promo for the streaming of the Yuki Kajiura Live vol.#17 ～PARADE～ that will happen on November 1, 2022 (see here for more details). The trailer features all 4 regular FJ girls, and the new ones rito and Lino Leia (who sounds like Wakana :O) and Hanae Tomaru as guest, and  Hikaru as secret guest.

In other news, yesterday the Yuki Kajiura staff twitter announced that The theme song “Soukyu no Fanfare” by FictionJunction feat. Aoi Eir & ASCA & ReoNa, written by Yuki Kajiura to commemorate the 10th anniversary of the anime “SWORD ART ONLINE,” will be released (digitally) on Friday, October 28!

Today, at Aniplex Online Fest. was announced that Yuki Kajiura will compose the music for the anime movie Eizen Flugel アイゼンフリューゲル with original story by Gen Urobuchi (Madoka Magica, Fate Zero), Character design by Takeshi Takeuchi (Fate Franchise) directed by Seiji Mizushima (Chief Director), Datzen Komatsuda (Director) and animation production by A-1 Pictures (SAO etc).

On August 25 was announced that the final performance of the Yuki Kajiura Live vol#17 tour Parade on August 12, will be screened on certain venues in Taiwan (1) and Hong Kong (1, 2)!

In other news the Kazeyo Arashiyo TV drama that Y.Kajiura composed for has finally started to air on japanese TV and the first trailers (1, 2) (and episode if you know where to look) are out!

Yesterday the SAO official website announced (1, 2) that the  Sword Art Online the Movie -Progressive- Kuraki Yuuyami no Scherzo movie and the soundtrack release date, originally to be released on September 9 and 10, 2022 respectively, will be postponed due to covid, and the new date will be announced sometime in the future.

Today was the last day of the “Yuki Kajiura Live vol.#17 ～PARADE～” tour and at the end the new FictionJunction album that was previously hinted for release this year was finally announced! The album with be -unsurprisingly- called “Parade” and will be released on April 19, 2023.  Its the first album  of the solo project since “elemental” released in 2014, 9 years ago. The album will have the regular 4 girls  Joelle Kaori Keiko Yuriko Kaida, as well as the 2 new vocalists rito and LINO LEIA, who were discovered in the “Yuki Kajiura/FictionJunction Project Vocalist Audition“. Also for the first time FictionJuction releases this album with SACRA instead of Flying Dog.

There are 2 confirmed songs so far:

• FictionJunction feat. LiSA “from the edge”
  (Kimetsu no Yaiba ED1)
• FicitionJunction feat. Aoi Eir & ASCA & ReoNa “Sokyu no Fanfare”
