A new 2nd PV for Lord El-Melloi II Case Files with new bgm by Yuki Kajiura is out!

The TV anime is set to start airing on July 2019. Do remember that Episode 00 of the anime is already out 😉. Here, if you missed the 1st PV.

On today’s world premiere for Kimetsu no Yaiba, it was revealed that the traditional-like voice heard in the 2 PVs (1, 2) for Kimetsu no Yaiba, is Chiaki Ishikawa! This is the first time she joins Yuki Kajiura after their See-Saw performance at Flying Dog 10th anniversary, and the first time they work together since 2005’s “Kimi wa boku ni niteiru” single!

Update 20/3: Kimetsu no Yaiba TV anime will will premiere on April 6 at 11:30 p.m.

A theatrical version, consisting of the first five episodes of the television anime is titled Kimetsu no Yaiba: Kyōdai no Kizuna (Demon Slayer Blade: The Bonds of Siblings). This version will screen in 11 theaters in Japan for two weeks starting on March 29. Aniplex of America will then host the United States premiere of the theatrical version at the Aratani Theatre in Los Angeles on March 31 at 3:00 p.m. PDT (6:00 p.m. EDT).

Spacecraft announced today what was more or less expected already as 2 of the 3 members and the composer left the group and the remaining one went on solo career. Kalafina is disbanding as of today March 13, 2019. In the announcement they said they examined all the possibilities for the group such as reopening but it didnt work out, and apologize to the fans who supported and hoped until now. UPDATE 14/3/2019: Keiko, Hikaru, and Yuki Kajiura have published a message via fictionjuction.com.

In it Keiko and Hikaru say thank you and appologise, an say how they’re happy they were able to meet their fans, singing songs that Miss Kajiura wrote for 10 years, and how they decided to stop walking the path of creating a music together as 3 and decided to walk on their own path of music and they hope their fans could support the path that they’ve chosen.

Y.Kajiura states how was actually surprised when she learned the news of Kalafina disbandment, not halted/hiatus. However she noted that they’ve been together for quite a long time, and that still remembers vividly the day she gave the “Kalafina” name to the group, and how it’s also been quite long since they have any group activity, and that she was really sorry towards the Kalafina fans.

In other news its been announced that Harmony fanclub activities will migrate to Wakana Fan Club.

In February 2, 2019 Yuki Kajiura and FictionJunction YUUKA were invited to perform in the 10th anniversary live of Flying Dog label (previously called Victor Entertainment). Chiaki Ishikawa was also invited. To our surprise during Chiaki’s performance, Yuki Kajiura came on stage See-Saw came together again as See-Saw again for the first time since 2006, and performed the song “Anna ni Issho datta no ni” ! FJ YUUKA also performed for the first time since 2014. Yuri Kasahara came on stage for “salva nos”.

Happy New Year everyone !!! ^_^ Yuki Kajiura is welcoming the new year with some more project announcements!

First she will provide music for the Fate/Stay Night spin-off anime Lord El-Melloi II Case Files where the protagonist is Rider’s master from Fate/Zero! The anime is developed by studio TROYCA, and its set to air on July 2019. Click below to see the PV (aparently Episode 00 of the anime is already out 😉 ).

Description: The world of Lord El-Melloi II Case Files is set as the same parallel world of Fate/stay night and relatively closely to Fate/Zero, as Waver Velvet had participated in the Fourth Holy Grail War.

Moreover, Yuki Kajiura will compose for NHK drama “Eien no Nispa”. This drama is made to celebrate the 150th anniversary of Hokkaido, it will start broadcasting in spring 2019, and last for 73 minutes.
