Title:
You Turn It Into Light”
Note: The title of this song is Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Iku (as written by Yuki Kajiura in the re/oblivious liner notes), and not Kimi ga Hikari ni Kaete Yuku (as sung by the vocalists).

Atataka na kaze no naka de Dareka ga yonderu Kurayami wo oshimu you ni Yoake ga hajimaru |
Within the warm breeze Somebody is calling As if regretting the darkness Daybreak begins |
Tomorrow will surely bring a silver rainbow over the beautiful sky |
Konna ni kanashii keshiki wo Kimi ga hikari ni kaete yuku Chiisana namida no tsubusae Houseki no you ni ochiteku Mirai no naka he |
You turn such a sad scenery as this into light Even a teardrop falls like a jewel Towards the future |
Kokoro ni wa himitsu ga aru Sore demo furetakute Fure aeba kowarete yuku Tamerai wa rasen no naka he |
You have a secret in your heart Even so, I want to touch it If we touch each other we will break Hesitation leads to within a spiral |
Hashi wo watatta kawa no mukou made Ashita wa kitto Mahiru no naka de Haru wa amaku fukaku kaoru no deshou Yume kara samete Hito wa nani wo sagasu no |
Until we cross the bridge to the other side of the lake Tomorrow will surely… bring the sweet and deep scents of Spring within the midday What do people search for when they awaken from a dream? |
(ildito ii somari adia) | (ildito ii somari adia) | (ildito ii somari adia) |
Konna ni akarui sekai he Kimi ga watashi wo tsurete yuku Mabushisa ni mada tachitsubumu Senaka wo sotto dakishimeru |
You take me to a world as bright as this I am still cowering from the radiance You gently hug my back |
Shinjiru koto no hakanasa wo Kimi ga hikari ni kaete yuku Mezameta asa ni wa namida ga Houseki no you ni ochiteku Mirai no naka he |
You turn the fragility of the things I believe in into light The tears in the morning I awake fall like jewels Towards the future |

wakana’s solo in kimi ga hikari ni kaete iku didn’t impressed me. her voice didn’t bring me the “sorrow” feel i felt when keiko sang it.
it’s for sure that kalafina’s personal member has incredible voice one another, but it’s better if they sing together, because when they sing together their voice are “BEYOND ANGELS”
How wonderful ~^-^~ Thanks a lot for the lyrics
Keiko’s deep voice has a ripple effect and gave out gentle tremors which is suitable for gentle songs like this one. Wakana on the other hand, her ability to sing in high-pitch is suitable for mysterious and pain-lamenting songs like Fairytale and Kizuato.
anyone know where I can find the acoustic version?
A minor note–in the acoustic version, 4th stanza, the last line is missing. It is the same as the original: “Hito wa nani wo sagasu no”. However, the bridge is indeed not sung in the acoustic version, and goes directly to “Konna ni akarui sekai he”.
wakana voice in this song is unique. indescribable
Thank you for the translations! This is the best song for me, I love it so much.
just want to tell, you forgot to add the line “hito wa nani wo sagasu no” at the re/oblivious ver.
I love how wakana sings the acoustic version it makes me cry :>
Right around that 5th stanza, where it translates to “cross the bridge to the other side of the lake,” “kawa” translates to “river.” I looked at the kanji to be sure, and it does look different from “kawa” that I know, but after looking up the kanji 河, it also appears to translate to river. Am I missing a colloquialism?
I agree that Keiko-san takes the spotlight of this song! She is great
Wakana-san…not so much
the line that “mabushisa ni mada tachitsubumu” is wrong; it should be “tachisukumu”
I concur, the lyric
should be tachisukumu
