The Gundam Seed HD Remaster website announced that FictionJunction is going to sing a new song, titled 「distance」, used as Ending Theme for the anime . The song will debut on the episode airing June 22, 2012. It is not clarified yet if there will be a single or an album release for the song.

In other news, about a week ago, the Minna no Uta episode featuring Kalafina song moonfesta was broadcasted on TV. Enjoy!

Lastly, the Opening and Ending Theme artists for the Sword Art Online anime, for which Yuki Kajiura composes the soundtrack, have been decided. The Opening (crossing field) will be by LiSa and the Ending (Yume no Sekai) by Haruka Tomatsu, so no Kalafina yet on SAO.

The Anime Expo 2012 official site announced that Yuki Kajiura and FictionJunction, will be guests of Anime Expo 2012 at Los Angeles, USA and will do a concert. The Expo takes place between June 29 – July 2, 2012. Also, according to the FJC announcement, the Front Band Members will also accompany them, and the venue will be the Los Angeles Convention Center.

This will be FictionJunction’s first performance together outside of Japan. Other guests of Anime Expo 2012 include band ANIMETAL USA, Culture Japan’s Danny Choo, Jamie Marchi, Steve Blum, LiSA, Cyril Lumboy, and Gallery of Fantastic Art.

Today, was announced via the Kalafina Blog that they will release a single, for their new song moonfesta, which as was stated in a previous newspost, will be used in a NHK’s children music program called Minna No Uta between June and July, 2012. The full PV of Sora wa Takaku Kaze wa Utau, the Yuki Kajiura-composed ED2 for Fate/Zero, as performed by Haruna Luna, has been spotted on TV! The single will be released on May 2, and the DVD and Blu-ray editions will contain the PV. There are still a few days left to preorder and support Luna’s debut!
