This isn’t really news but it’s just too awesome so I just had to share it for those who don’t visit the forum XDD (which you all totally should because there are often things that we can’t post as news but are still worth gushing over…hehe…).
Back in November there was an anime music event called ANIMAX MUSIX Fall 2010, where Kalafina performed anime songs with many other artists. In addition to their own, they also performed this special Kajiura-arranged version of See-Saw‘s classic Anna ni Issho Datta no ni. It was a live event, but just aired on TV this week.
They also covered Yuzurenai Negai with ELISA.
Okay, it’s back to studying for me!!
Oh, and if you missed the last few posts because our RSS was broken after the move, make sure to check them out đ
Amazing! Amazing, both of them. If only Kalafina had also covered Zankoku na Tenshi no Thesis…
ooh yeah that would be epic XD
Have you seen Chaki’s cover of zankoku? It’s from animelo 2009 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dNJyBkWQk8g
I don’t know why, but I always remember Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff when I see Chiaki Ishikawa. [Maybe from the Kimi ga Ita Monogatari PV? XD]
Also, can’t wait to see the oblivious and Kaga-sora lives. [I Still don’t know how oblivious didn’t even appear at the Red Moon Live. xD Sapphire could be replaced. Now I’m mumbling.]
If only Kalafina had also covered Zankoku na Tenshi no ThesisâŠ>>>Interesting, but I think it’s more far from their style from See-Saw one..(We may need more from Keiko&Hikaru in this song..lol.)
BTW..their Annani made me crazy..even I still see many flaws in it.., but it’s still awesome..TT.
wow!! this is so amazing. i really love this cover! <3
Seeing the title of this post literally increased my pulse rate.
<3 <3 <3!!! Thank you so much for sharing!
Amazing performance! Although the original song is higher, but I suppose that they transposed it because Hikaru’s voice couldn’t go that high or something. In any case, it’s very nice!
The Spanish translation is also pretty good – oddly enough, because non-English translations are usually bad. I mean, at least it’s pretty good at the beginning. Later on I lose it myself a bit, so I cannot speak until I look it up at a dictionary, and near the end the translation loses it a bit. đ
Hikaru sounds really powerful in this whole songs especially at the starting …
i was like * whoah her voice is BAAAAM* i love this cover actually i think it is pretty unique and extremely well done rendition of Anna ni Issho Datta no ni.
Another thing thats was nice was the Kajiuran part ( english actually). Really breath taking performance.. * Rip of youtube into Mp3 WHEEEE*
“I donât know why, but I always remember Brazilian president Dilma Rousseff when I see Chiaki Ishikawa. ”
Hein?
I love the song sung by them and the spanish lyrics are BEAUTIFUL!!!!
you mean the spanish translation of the lyrics đ
Awesome !
Thanks guys
Once in time
you were my love
revealing love
In summer rain
And autumn pain
(Cry in vain)
I miss you so…
(You were my delight)
In my soul
in my heart…
[New english bridge is epic!]
OMGH this is sooo awesome. xD I didn’t know about this cover!
Omg, how awesome that they did something like this. It’d be great if they did a studio version as a bonus track or something on one of their future cd’s~
As much as I like Ishikawa’s original, Kalafina did an amazing job covering one of my most favourite anime songs. đ
pretty good.
i wish to see the God Knows and Beautiful World covers.
Kalafina really did a great job singing this song..I moved into tears especially the english part in between
