The NHK drama website announced a new special drama titled 「１５歳の志願兵」 (15 Sai no Shiganhei = 15 year-old volunteer), for which Yuki Kajiura will score the music! The drama takes place towards the end of World War 2 in 1943 and its the story of a 15 year old volunteer soldier.
The drama is made in commemoration of the 65 year Anniversary of the end of the war. It will be filmed during June and July, and will broadcast on August 15 at 9pm. Let’s Hope there will be soundtrack release 🙂

Furthermore, there was announced that Kalafina will be guests at the Anime Songs Night in Harajuku ~ Jump to the world ~ event, where they will sing along with other artists, as well as that their next live will be at Shibuya Hall CCLemon on December 11, 2010. For that live will be announced more details in the future be the Kalafina Official Site.

After a few days of rumors, Sony has confirmed that Kalafina will be performing an insert song for the upcoming anime, Kuroshitsuji II. Kalafina had performed the ending theme for the first season, Lacrimosa, last year. The new song is titled 輝く空の静寂には (Kagayaku sora no Shijima ni wa). However, they have not yet confirmed whether this song will be published as a single. Hopefully more details to come!

In addition, Kalafina will do a second visit to Hong Kong (the first was during the Asia Tour): They are invited and will perform at the Heatbeat Band Sound Competition 2010 together with other artists. Furthermore, as Sony announced, they will do a Red Moon concert , called Kalafina LIVE 2010 “Red Moon” in Hong Kong on August 6 (which is by coincidence Yuki’s birthday 🙂 ).
