Kakire no himawari ni kakurete
Isoide KISSU wo shita
Kimi no yawarakana houtteta wa
Kitto totemo amaidarou

Hiding behind the hedge of sunflowers
We swiftly kissed
Your soft cheeks
I’m sure they are very sweet

Nousagi oikakete de kusa no naka
Dare nimo mienai ne
Soshiranu kao shita nohara ni
Nugisuteta kutsu no yajirushi

We have chased a hare into a meadow
No one can see us now
In this field which is totally closed off from the world
There was a shoe thrown off as if it was a sign

Nani mo nai natsu deshita
Tada koi wo shita dake deshita

It was a summer where nothing happened
I fell in love

Odoru mikazuki manatsu no yoru wa
Yume miru koi wo tsurete kuru
Remon-iro shite hoshi wo kazoette
Kimi no kokoro ni KISSU wo suru

The midsummer night where the crescent is dancing
Brings together a dreamlike love
While counting the lemon coloured stars
I leave a kiss on your heart

Fue no ne ga…
Kimi wo saratteku
Kaze no naka…
Yagate kuru aki e…

The melody of flute
carries you off
In the wind,
to the autumn is coming soon

Wakasugiru midori no ringo wa
Gingami no aji ga suru
Setsunasa ga minoru eda kara
Kimi ga totte kuremashita

The green apple which is not yet ripe
It tastes very sour as if it was some kind of metal
From the branch where the pain becomes the fruit
You have taken it

Nemuranai sakana no yume miru
Owaranai natsu deshita
Kokoro no kisetsu mo ringo mo
Irozuku kodo sae wasurete

The fishes that never sleep dream on
It was an neverending summer
The hearts, the seasons, and the apples
They have forgotten to redden

Samugari na kazami no tori ga
Mou sugu aki dayo to utau

The the weather vane bird which is sensitive to cold
Sings of a approaching autumn

Yureru mikazuki manatsu no yoru ni
Wasurete koi wo omoidasu
Yume no hitohira hoshi no suzu oto
Kimi no kokoro ni KISSU wo suru

The midsummer night where the crescent is swaying
I remember the love I have forgotten
One page of my dream, the bell-like tinkling of stars
I leave a kiss on your heart

Sonno natsu no…
Adokenai ringo
Itsumademo…
Mune ni au kajitsu

The innocent apple from that summer
It remains forever in my heart

  2. Makoto Says:

There’s something about the way the solos were arranged and the style put into this that just brings on the sweetest feeling, indeed a Summer’s Apple. It’s as if the song itself (As many fabulous Kaijura songs are,) was in a fantastic world of endless wonder. It paints so many colors of green, yellow, and soft reds into the air, and brings upon these colors the scent of summer grass and apples. Truly wonderful.

  3. Ophelia Arcana Says:

The music and song sounds like it was sung on a lush green meadow… Peaceful, sweet and innocent.
