Um, I thought “kage” means “shadow”. It’s in the first stanza. In the translation it says “reflection”, is it? Is shadow and reflection the same? Just curious.
@Ophelia Arcana It’s funny because in Japanese “kage” means both “image” (as in something you can see with luminous definition) and “shadow” (as in the absence of light). “Kage” can also be interpreted as “mirage”, like something you see but you know it’s not there.
