The official site of the “Japan Expo” convention, held in Paris, France every year, has announced (ENG, FR) that Kalafina will be invited at this year’s Japan Expo!! The convention this year durates from 2 to 6 July 2014 at Nord Villepinte Exhibition Center, in Paris. More details to come in Future 🙂 This will be Kalafina’s first visit to France and the second in Europe, after AnimagiC in 2012 in Germany.

In other news, Kalafina has been invited to this year’s Music Energy 2014,  a concert organised every year by Spacecraft.

In an unrelated topic, like every year, we are organising a project to create a present for Yuki Kajiura’s Birthday which is at August 6 every year. This year’s project is now open to all fans and visitors who want to join it, since we have low participation in the forum (aiming for about 50 people). Peppermint.TV (one of the sites that will stream SAO II worldwide) has uploaded a 14-secs german-subtitled japanese CM for Sword Art Online II. During it you can hear a rearrangement (flute – drums – e. guitar – strings) of “Swordland” track 🙂

The official site of Sword Art Online has updated with the information about the serie’s airing in Japan and other countries as well as the streaming sites wordwide! It has been announced that the series will start airing on July 5!  The show’s music will be composed by Yuki Kajiura, while the OP will be performed by Aoi Eir and the ED by Haruna Luna 🙂

There will be a number of premiere events in a number of countries:

• USA Premiere:  Anime Expo in Los Angeles on July 4. Original light novel author Reki Kawahara and illustrator and character designer abec will be in attendance.
• Japanese premiere: June 29 at TOHO Cinemas Roppongi Hills
• French premiere: July 4 at Japan Expo
• German premiere: July 4 in various Cinemaxx and Cinedom theaters
• Taiwanese premiere: July 4 at Cinemark Taipei
• Korean premiere: July 4 at Megabox Dongdaemun
• Hong Kong premiere: July 4 at MCL Telford Cinema

The series will stream in China on LeTV, in Taiwan on i-funtv, and in French-speaking countries (France, Switzerland, Belgium, Algeria, Monaco, Tunisia, and in Quebec, Canada) on Wakanim. The show will also stream “in German-speaking countries” (Germany, Switzerland, Luxembourg, and Austria, but also Poland) on Peppermint.TV. Daisuki will stream the series in the rest of Europe. Additionally, the show will air in Korea on the cable TV station Aniplus and will also air in Thailand and Singapore on cable TV.

The show will air in Japan on Tokyo MX TV on July 5 at 11:30 p.m., before the show also airs on MBS, TV Aichi, tvk, BS11 and several other other stations. The series will also stream in Japan on niconico and the d Anime Store.

According to a lisani.jp announcement, just like was previously rumoured, the best album will be in 2 Editions, “Red” and “Blue” with each of them having Regular and Limited Editions, and will both get released on July 16, 2014. Each of colour has totally different tracklist and contains different live footages in the respective Limited Edition Blu-ray.

The Red Edition will contain a still unknown new song as the first song, while in the BD will contain live footage from the “Kalafina 5th Anniversary LIVE” oblivious” on January 23, 2013 , while the Blue Edition, will have as its last track the newly announced Kalafina song  「heavenly blue」 for Aldnoah Zero anime, while its BD will contain live footage from the Kalafina “Lisani LIVE-4!” performance of January 26, 2014. The Regular Editions will have a price of ￥3240 (tax included) while the Limited ones ￥4320 (tax included)

For the promotion of the release there’s going to open a special site starting tomorrow ( 13/5  at 12:00 JST), and are also planned 3 Talk & Live Kalafina events broadcasted from July 14 to 16, 2014 (Broadcast links: night 1, 2, 3, more info: here soon)

Today Sony announced that Kalafina will do the Opening Theme song titled 「heavenly blue」for the TV anime “Aldnoah Zero”. The anime’s script is written by Gen Urobuchi, directed by Ei Aoki (Kara no Kyoukai, Fate Zero) and is animated by the studios A-1 Pictures + TROYCA, its music will be composed by Hiroyuki Sawano (Guilty Crown, Attack on Titan, Kill la Kill) who will also perform the Ending Theme 🙂
