The Boku dake ga inai machi website has updated with details for the OP and ED songs, and Yuki Kajiura is arranging the Ending Theme!

Τhe Opening Theme is performed by KUNG FU GENERATION, while the Ending Theme is performed by sayuri (さユり). Yuki Kajiura is composing it and writing its lyrics,  while the arrangement is done by Ryo Eguchi. Τhe song is titled それは小さな光のような (sore wa chisana hikari no yo na = it is like a small light). The single will come out in 4 editions (LE A, LE B, Anime, all three with DVD, Regular) on February 24, 2016.

A bit less than 2 months until release, and the tracklist for the Sword Art Online Music Collection is out!! Compared to the bundled soundtracks, this one has 16 more tracks in total, destributed between the discs! The issues of ost 2 (dublicate track, wrong pitch in most tracks) seem to be fixed. Despite the additional tracks (+1 Remi song) there seem to still be some missing. Remember that the BD of the Limited Edition will contain video of the 27 minutes performance of Yuki Kajiura from the「Sword Art Online “Sing all Overtures”」 event.

Yuki Kajiura has announced that she composed the music for the TV anime Boku dake ga inai machi (僕だけがいない街 = The Town Where Only I Am Missing) (official site)!! The source manga is written by Taku Kishimoto, The anime is made by noitamina, and A-1 Pictures, and is directed by Tomohiko Itō (Silver spoon, SAO). The anime will start airing on January 7, 2016 on Fuji TV.

According to Yuki, she was already following the manga before she was offered the job (and is totally a fan) and did not hesitate to accept it when Mori-san told her about the offer. She stumbled upon the series while looking for something interesting to read on her Kindle.

In other news, a short concept movie, said to be linked to the sequel for the Madoka series, was shown at the Madogatari exhibition (SHAFT’s 40th Anniversary exhibit) and Yuki Kajiura scored new music for this concept movie, but it is still unknown if it will be screened elsewhere.

Kalafina announced that they will visit Mexico City for a live concert! The concert will be titled Kalafina LIVE 2016 “far on the water” in Mexico and will take place on February 20, 2016 at El Plaza Condesa (Mexico City)!

Kalafina announced via their blog that they are going to release a limited edition Live Album containing  audio recording of their last year’s 「Kalafina LIVE TOUR 2014」 concert on November 1, 2014 at Tokyo International Forum Hall A. Here’s the setlist:
