The Kalafina LINE blog  has updated with the coverarts and tracklists for their 20th single 「into the world / Märchen」!

This time, there 3 different tracklists for the CD, one for the LEs and RE, one for Anime Ed and one for vinyl. The first has into the world instrumental while the second has Märchen instrumental, and the vinyl has everything. The LEs DVD has only into the world PV while the Anime Edition DVD has Märchen PV and 2 creditless Ending sequences from the OVA (one for ep 1, one for rest of episodes). This all means that to get all the tracks and all the videos you need to buy at least 2 of the single’s editions. Furthermore there’s suprisingly one b-side included! Haru wo Matsu (春を待つ), “= waiting for spring”.

Remember that starting from April 4, Kalafina will be in new sublabel of Sony, SacraMusic, we still dont know if there was any involvement in this single though.

Recochoku.jp has updated with samples for the Sword Art Online Ordinal Scale OST‘s ost tracks and character songs. Two of the character songs dont list Yuki Kajiura as composer (on itunes) but we will find soon if she has any other involvement. Remember that the character songs are sung by Yuna’s voice actress, Sayaka Kanda. (from the OST tracks “the place we should have reached”and “welcome to Oridinal Scale” have vocals!)

The SAO Ordinal Scale website has updated with the coverart for the upcoming movie!

As you already know, there will be 2 discs inside, one with the soundtrack, composed by Yuki Kajiura, and one with 5 character songs sung by Sayaka Kanda, who plays the character Yuna, pictured on the cover. There are no credits for the character songs but samples from trailers hint they could be composed  by Yuki Kajiura too 😀

Update 2 (February 1): Yuki Kajiura has confirmed with a twit that she wrote the character insert songs of the SAO movie, included in the 2nd Disc of this soundtrack 😀 (thanks to yuki.n)

According to our informants, in today’s FictionJunction CLUB Members-only「Kalafina 9th Anniversary LIVE 2017」concert, Kalafina announced that they will release their latest Rekishi Hiwa Historia song, into the world and the Zaregoto OVA Ending Theme Märchen in a new single on April 5, 2017!

Remember that starting this April Kalafina will be moving along with 13 more artists to a new sub-label of SME, Sacra.

Notice that the “Into the World” PV will be only included in the LE A and B while the “Marchen” PV only in the Anime Edition, which means that to get both you need to buy 2 copies.

Aniplex USA has announced, that Yuki Kajiura’s SAO concert on Hollywood on January 14, 2017, is getting CANCELLED.Full text below:

“We regret to announce that the “Yuki Kajiura LIVE featuring Sword Art Online” concert on January 14, 2017 at the Dolby Theatre is cancelled due to visa issues. Ms. Kajiura, the artists, and everyone involved in the show were looking forward to performing for the U.S. fans which makes it particularly difficult and disappointing for us to make this announcement. We sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused by these unforeseen and uncontrollable circumstances.
