aki no shizuku ga anata no hou ni urei wo otoshi mienai tsuki ni negai wo kaketa itoshisa ga tokeru you ni |
as a drop of autumn fell on your cheek, letting sorrow loose, i made a wish on the hidden moon that my love for you will fade away |
surely i’ll be able to see you smiling in my dreams kiss me softly for the sake of the disappearing september |
akai koyubi no ohanashi wo mada shinjiteta koro osanai hoshi ni negai wo kaketa yume no you na koi wo suru no |
when i still believed in the story of the red pinky finger i made a wish on a young star to fall in love like in my dreams |
nee, kitto ame ni naru kara kumo ga nigeru made koko ni ite nani mo iwanakute ii no utatte futari no tame ni yasashiku |
hey, stay here until the clouds fade away because it will surely rain soon you don’t need to say anything just sing softly for the sake of us |

Lyrics in brackets indicate chorus.
oh, on a side note, the red pinky finger refers to the asian belief of the red sting of fate that connects soulmates. 🙂
Beautiful lyrics ^_^. Asides from that I just wanted to point that It reads better if you put “For our sake” than “For the sake of us” I’m not judging just saying… Don’t have to change anything. Anyways thanks for the lyrics and the translation. Have a nice day~
@Hishii I think that “for the sake of us” is more poetic than “for our sake”. Kajiura’s original lyrics are poetic too, so maybe the translator wanted the translation to sound more poetic too 😀
@ritardando . Now that I think about it what you say it’s true “for the sake of us” DOES sounds a lot more poetic!
Thanks for giving me your opinion now I like this song even more~ ♥♥♥
Aww, such beautiful lyrics! I fell for it instantly! XD
But, anybody know the lyric for the bridge part? I wanna know it so badly! 😀
somehow, I heard some kajiurago chorus in it.
@Tresh: the brigde part is a “kajiurago chorus” part. I heard it like this:
[solte adoso
imiya solti ya niwa
mi solte iya
tanowari wa man]
beautiful lyrics, huh?
