Today was the Yuki Kajiura LIVE Special Edition ~Christmas Dinner Show 2025~, and at the end Yuuka Nanri (FictionJunction YUUKA) came on stage to sing Seiya! What’s more is that she is announced (1, 2) as a Guest vocalist for all Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#22 dates!! 12 years already passed since last time she performed with Kajiura family on FictionJunction YUUKA 2 Days Special (Feb 2014). The subtitle for Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#22 dates has been announced to be “〜precious pieces〜” (hint: its probably a next album title like with “Parade” previously). Also it has been announced that from 2026 EMIKO (Suzuki) becomes full FictionJunction member!

In other news a new PV for the anime movie Gekijōban Mahō Shōjo Madoka Magica: Walpurgis no Kaiten (PM Madoka Magica: Turning the Tide of Walpurgis) has been released! The movie is set to start screening on Japanese theaters on February 2026, and Yuki Kajiura is composing the music!

Today the Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#21～60 Songs～ performance of August 24 2025 at Omiya Sonic City Main Hall, was aired at TBS Channel 1 (with KajiFes’s 2 Days and vol#20 airing before it), and the FictionJunction website announced the release of the YKL vol.#21 live in Blu-ray! The BD will be released on January 21, 2026, in Regular and Limited Edition. The RE will contain footage of 『Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#21～60 Songs～』 Aug 24 performance, while the LE will also come with a bonus BD disc with Yuki Kajiura LIVE vol.#20 ～Japanese Seal 20th Special～ (June 9 2024, Kanagawa Kenmin Hall Yokohama performance), a T-shirt and a 48-page live photo & interviews book, but due to these extras its price will be more than double.

[Upd] Flutist Rie Akagi has announced that she will not be able to attend Yuki Kajiura Live Special Edition ~Christmas Dinner Show 2025~ (she was previously  among the musicians announced for the show), as she unfortunately had to withdraw from the performance due to a setback in the recovery from a fracture sustained in July, necessitating further surgery. We wish her a successful surgery and fast recovery!

On September 19 Lantis announced a 6-CD box, and Blu-ray box (click links for details in japanese) for Mai-Hime and Mai-Otome series!

To commemorate the 20th anniversary of the TV anime broadcast, a CD-BOX featuring re-recorded versions of theme songs, insert songs, background music, and character songs will be released on March 18, 2026!

This will be the first time the TV size versions of the theme songs are included. It will also feature the theme song from the PS2 game “Mai-Otome: Otome Butai Shi!!”, as well as theme songs and background music from the OVAs “Mai-Otome Zwei” and “Mai-Otome 0 ~S.ifr~”.

The jacket will feature a newly drawn illustration by character designer Hirokazu Hisayuki.

Dinner show is a type of event where the audience is seated in restaurant and eating dinner while watching the live show.
