Posted

Today there was a Fate/Stay Night event in Japan where more info was revealed about the project’s future 🙂

It was announced that the anime that’s set to start airing October 4th, 2014  ( at midnight)  will adapt the Unlimited Blade Works arc, and the composer will be Fukasawa Hideyuki (mainly a game composer, previous anime works: Bakumatsu Kikansetsu Irohanihoheto (2006),  Vividred Operation (2013), The Flowers of Evil (2013))

The OP for the anime will be sang by a new artist named Ayano Mashiro, released under the  “Ariola Japan” label, while the ED will be sang by Kalafina (SME)

There was also announced a Fate/Stay Night movie adapting the Heaven’s Feel arc, and a iOS/Android game.

To tell the truth I feel disappointed that Yuki Kajiura wont be the composer this time, and we’ll only have kalafina to do the ed. song…

^ She probably didnt have time for it, since in the first trailer they did had “fate to zero” playing in half of the PV so they had her in their mind as an option.

But they might hire her for the Heaven’s Feel movie, since Fukasawa is only for the TV anime, and Kajiura has exerience from the KnK and Madoka movies so she woulf fit just right in 😀

    ok heaven’s feel

Let’s hope she composes for heavens feel then 🙂
Anyways, I still have second doubts about this remake since I think what made zero’s story so great was the fact it was written by Gen Urobuchi. The original fsn anime had a somewhat childish Saber whereas fzero’s Saber was a proud knight.

So the anime series its not really a remake then? Because its Unlimited Blades Work after all, which is first released as a movie. I thought they will make the first arc.

I feel so bad for Yuki not doing the OST this time. T___________T
I really hope she would be in the movie. 🙂

I’m pretty sure Kajiura didn’t compose for this series because uFotable didn’t let her. Kajiura’s style is more tragedy-focused. Fate/Zero was a tragic story. Fate/Stay Night is more of an epic adventure, and Yuki’s style would be simply wouldn’t give the right impression of the story’s atmosphere.
The one composing the soundtrack for F/SN is Hideyuki, the same guy that composed for Type-Moon’s latest visual novel “Mahoutsukai no Yoru”. I believe the music in the 3rd PV video is also part of the soundtrack he’s made ofr F/SN.

at least we got Kalafina. I have high expectation for them. I hope it will be great just like they did with the endings of kuroshitsuji.

  8. Spellcasterbr says:

^ I agree with Kiririn. Perhaps kawano’s style suits fsn better than Kajiura’s. Anyways, I enjoyed the pv3 music.

I hope the ending will be as good as KnK’s ending. Kuroshitsuji’s ending pale in comparison to all 7 KnK theme.
