English

summer rain falls on the apple branches
lights from heaven dancing with the shadows

come take my hand
let me be in your forest

sometimes you think loneliness is better than pain
and you sink deeper in your valley

is this the place to be, in you memory?

no, I never wanna lose you in the forest of the night
in vanity’s lair
yearning for the angel calling
hear the lonely prayer ringing through the land of rain
across the thin air
they sing voice to voice
the ancient melodies
calling you

autumn goes by
combing twilight into my hair
I look back on the passing tenderness

Let me stay by your side
In your memory

No, you never gonna find me in the forest of the night
In vanity’s lair
no more holy angel calling
hear my lonely prayer ringing through the land of rain
across the thin air
we sing voice to voice
the ancient melodies
I’m calling you

no, I never wanna lose you in the forest of the night
in vanity’s lair
yearning for the angel calling
hear the lonely prayer ringing through the land of rain
across the thin air
they sing voice to voice
the ancient melodies
I’m calling you

  1. Anny says:

Someone can tell me what says Yuriko Kaida after the second chorus? (fictionjunction version)

  2. Anny says:

calling baby in the silent “…..” in the light…. I only understand that… the part between don’t hahaha i speak spanish, for that is to hard to me understand.

  3. Rain says:

Sounds more like “Come and feel me in the silence / come in (the) light, in the light”

  4. george1234 says:

These lyrics are not ours but the ones written in the official booklet, so there’s no way they are wrong 🙂

  5. Cross says:

To me it sounds like “Come and feel me in the silent candle light, in the light”

  6. José Liam says:

    What she says is:

“Come and feel me in the silence
Come and lie in the rye’

  7. Johnny C says:

This has become of my favorite songs to listen to from the Elemental tour.

Just the flow, the melodies and harmonies, and how it’s such a different yet familiar piece. Wakana really did a job job in the lead. Her voice and expression went well with it.

I am really hoping for a revisiting with Joelle taking the lead with full enunciation in English, since she’s been covering a lot of originals by Emily Bindiger – something to look forward to, definitely!

  8. Johnny C says:

Epic flute solo from the inimitable Akagi Rie. She elevated the song even more with her section.
