Kanji Romaji English
doko made mo tsuzuiteru
hoshizora miagete utau
kagiri-aru bokutachi no
eien wo yumemiru merodii
Looking up at the endless starry skies
as we sing
the melody that mortals like us
dream of forever
mune ni afureru itoshisa no mizu wa
mirai no hate de
dareka ni todoku darou
shinjite iru yo
The waters of love come
brimming into our hearts.
I believe someone will
reach the end of the future.
(isdiyare…)
(imasa…)
(ifidiya…)
haruka na toki wo kakenukete
(isdiyare…)
bokutachi no yobigoe wa
itsuka ookina uta ni naru
(imasa…)
ai wo tsumuide yukeru yo
(ifidiya…)
Racing against the faraway time
(isdiyare…)
Our cries
will become a great song.
(imasa…)
Spinning the threads of love as we go
(ifidiya…)
Even though we are just a tiny light now.
(kiiya…
efari…)
(kiiya…
efari…)
(kiiya…
efari…)
wakariau yorokobi ni
karadagoto yakareta yoru ni
kagiri-aru nukumori no
eien wo hajimete inotta
In this night when my body burns
from the joy of understanding,
I started to pray for the eternity
of this limited warmth.
kimi no tame ni kitto umarete kita to
tada koe no kagiri ni
sakebi tsuzuketai
yobiau koe ga
toki wo koeru you ni
I exist solely for you.
I wish to call out to you endlessly
with only this voice.
Let our cries for each other
be heard across time.
(konta domiya)
(asorta domiya)
(isoami)
(iya…)
furueteta te wo toriatte
(konta domiya)
nakushitakunai to omotte
bokura no mune ni
hakanasa ga itsuka
umareteta
(asorta domiya)
owari ni obiete naite
(isoami)
owaranai uta wo utatta
mada minai chihei no hou he
kimi to yukeru
kara……
(iya…)
Holding these trembling hands
(konta domiya)
I tell myself I do not wish to lose them.
The fleeting moments
that come to exist in our hearts
When it is gone we
(asorta domiya)
become fearful and weep.
(isoami)
We sing the song that never ends.
The plains we cannot see right now
are the destination you and I can reach…
(iya…)
(istidare…)
(iyaso…)
(mifidiya…)
haruka na toki wo kakenukete
(istidare…)
bokutachi no yobigoe wa
itsuka ookina uta ni naru
(iyaso…)
ai wo katatte yukeru yo
(mifidiya…)
ima wa mada konna ni chiisana
hikari dakedo
Racing against the faraway time
(istidare…)
Our cries
will become a great song.
(iyaso…)
Telling the tales of love as we go
(mifidiya…)
Even though we are
just a tiny light now.
(isidare…)
(iyasa…)
(ifidiya…)
光の中
(iya…)
(isidare…)
hoshizora miagete utau
(iyasa…)
eien wo yumemite iru
(ifidiya…)
hikari no naka
(iya…)
(isidare…)
Singing, gazing at the starry sky,
(iyasa…)
dreaming of eternity
(ifidiya…)
within the light.
(iya…)

  1. Kizuato* says:

Who transliterated this? Because it’s pretty horrible.

  2. george1234 says:

I found it in the site which you can access at the bottom of the page, therefore I have no idea who did the transliteration. If you can submit a better transliteration, please do so 🙂

  3. Chris says:

Finally I find a site that has the japanese words next to the English so I can see what each line means, and I get a shitty translation. -sighs-

    Don’t worry george1234, I know it’s not your fault.

  4. nohara19 says:

my oh my (?), kaori reachs a great note in this song *-*

  5. Jen says:

She’s always been able to reach high notes. I believe we hear some pretty good ones in Hanamori no Oka too. ^=^

  6. Makoto says:

You guys need a better, more consistent transliterator. I wouldn’t mind doing so myself if you would excuse my small English mistakes here and there.

  7. george1234 says:

^ no preblem, please do so and send it to me via the email that’s displayed on the Contact & Credits page 🙂

  8. Makoto says:

I will do so when I have some time, and thank you very much

  9. ninetales says:

    Romaji corrected!

  10. Virgil says:

what happened in the lyrics ? where’s the full lyrics including the back vocals? this romaji is the acoustic version of calling ..

  11. george1234 says:

What? There’s no acoustic version of calling, http://canta-per-me.net/discography/kaori-oda-calling . I dont know which Youtube video confused you but no acoustic version has ever been released, and these lyrics are the Full ones.

  12. Virgil says:

    that live i think?

  13. Virgil says:

    kaori acooustic live..

  14. Ophelia Arcana says:

The lyrics are so touching… a song of a love so pure that it transcends time and distance…

  15. Janet says:

Has anyone managed to find or transcribe sheet music for this song?

  16. george1234 says:

As far as I know, no 🙁
