The JVC website does not yet list Asuka as a vocalist as of this typing, but Yuki and Kaori Oda didn’t forget! JVC notes that the album will contain self-covers, and Yuki says there will be some entirely new tracks as well ^_^.

The new Kalafina single with the theme for Kara no Kyoukai 6 has been announced, and will be released in December. The c/w song, titled “serenato”, has not been announced as the theme for KnK 7, however. It seems that Maya will not be involved in this single.

The Kodansha website has released information on two upcoming Tsubasa Chronicle OADs - two animated episodes of an arc titled “Shunraiki”, to be bundled with Tsubasa Chronicle manga volumes 27 and 28. FictionJunction YUUKA has been listed as the music staff for the project.

The two volumes are set for release on January 19, 2009, and April 17, 2009, at a retail price of 3,700 JPY each.

However, it is unknown whether the music in OAD will be new compositions. It is unusual that FJY would be listed as the entire music staff, while in the past it had been “Yuki Kajiura”. In the previous OVA (Tsubasa Tokyo Revelations), there was a small amount of new music mixed in with old, so we hope this time there will be at least a bit of new material, and maybe even a new song or two with Yuuka :) .

We receive news that the Anican Free paper has announced the release date of the Yuki Kajiura LIVE DVD to be December 17, 2008.

As of this posting, we don’t know anywhere that’s offering preorders yet ^_^.

In other news, the next two Kara no Kyoukai DVDs will be released December 17, 2008 (Garan no Dou) and January 28, 2009 (Mujun Rasen), with the special editions coming packaged with soundtracks by Yuki Kajiura. Thanks to Kazado for posting the dates!

Also, we still don’t have a recording of Yuki’s appearance on Takeshi no Dare Demo Picasso so if anyone can record it at one of those times, we will worship you forever.
